Samsung Galaxy C7 visits Geekbench with Helio P20 SoC

Samsung Galaxy C7 visits Geekbench with Helio P20 SoC

Since the past few months, we have been coming across details about an upcoming smartphone likely to be dubbed the Galaxy C7.

Earlier this month, there was a report tipping that this smartphone could be launched soon as its support page went live on the company website. Also, the Galaxy C7 has been visiting the necessary certification websites such as TENAA, Bluetooth SIG, and Wi-Fi Alliance. One of the certification databases revealed that this smartphone might feature a dual lens rear camera setup at its rear.
Now, the Galaxy C7 has again hit the headlines while the smartphone industry is waiting to witness the unveiled of the company's flagship Galaxy Note 8 on August 23. According to Slashleaks, the Galaxy C7 was just spotted visiting the Geekbench benchmark listing giving us an idea of what it will feature internally.
From the recent Geekbench listing, it is believed that the Galaxy C7 might make use of a MediaTek Helio P20 MT6757 chipset. Also, the leaked benchmark listing shows that the deca-core processor might be teamed up with 4GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. Contradictorily, we have seen reports tipping that the Galaxy C7 might employ either a Snapdragon 630 SoC or a Snapdragon 660 SoC under its hood.
In addition to the revealing these promising specs, the Geekbench listing has also revealed that the Galaxy C7 has scored 883 points in the single-core test and 3959 points in the multi-core test respectively. As spotted on TENAA in the past, the Galaxy C7 was spotted with a dual lens rear camera but the details about the camera and its specs remain unknown for now.
One thing we know is that the Galaxy Note 8 will be the first Samsung phone to be launched with the dual lens rear camera so the Galaxy C7 will not be launched anytime soon
