Hands on: LG G Watch review A bit of smartphone on your wrist Our early verdict "A solid entry into Android Wear at an affordable price" For Nice design Vivid display Voice recognition Against Low battery life Usefulness is subjective No heart-rate monitor Look out, Dick Tracy, we can now see Facebook notifications on our wristwatches and ask for directions on the road! Does that sound exciting? Or are you asking yourself, "Why God, why?" Whether you're excited or apathetic, the LG G Watch is here with Android Wear, and in my very limited time with it, it's been pretty cool, but slightly underwhelming. Maybe that's actually a good thing. After all, you don't want this to be a distraction, but a complement to your smartphone instead. With Android Wear, you basically get to deal with lots of the things you'd normally do on your phone. Instead of pulling your Android smartphone to ch

Aereo had offered users a mini aerial that relayed service over the cloud A cloud-based television service, which allowed users to receive broadcast TV over the web without a traditional antenna has decided to "pause" its subscription service following a court defeat this week. The Aereo platform, which uses an army of mini antennas to relay live TV and DVR functionality for free to air channels in some areas of the U.S., was ruled illegal by the Supreme Court this week. In a statement Aereo CEO Chet Kanojia wrote: As a result of that decision, our case has been returned to the lower Court. Verizon's online billing system goes down

The mobile operator also could not say how many of its customers were affected. Luckily for Big Red customers, the problem does not affect Verizon's network. If you're a Verizon customer who has been unable to get into the system to check his account

Nokia Lumia 930 to come discounted at O2 Germany

Nokia Lumia 930 to come discounted at O2 Germany Tags: Nokia , Windows Phone The Nokia Lumia 930 may soon become available through O2 Germany for a lower price. The carrier will reportedly be offering the Lumia 930 for €519 which is lower than the around €550 expected price of the device in Germany. The Nokia Lumia 930 has already been posted for pre-order in the country (along with France) but the expected shipping dates haven't yet been confirmed. Previously it was speculated the Lumia 930 will ship around June 19 but that now looks like July 10. Pre-orders for the Lumia 930 have also launched in Italy for the even higher price of €599 through Microsoft's online retail channels. This puts the Windows Phone 8.1 handset at a disadvantage against devices like the HTC One (M8) or Samsung Galaxy S5 as they have improved chipsets and cost a little less. And as Microsoft scrambles around with the release there are even QHD droids about to land. source

The company's experiment artificially tweaked the feeds of 689,003 users to show more downcast or more positive updates from their friends over the period of a week. The results, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science showed a direct correlation between the emotions conveyed in the users' own posts over that period of time.
